Asset Mapping for Economic and Workforce Development

Welcome to the Asset Mapping Application, produced by the Center for Spatial Analysis at the University of Oklahoma and sponsored by the Central Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board. The Center for Spatial Analysis (CSA) has worked with the Central Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board (COWIB) in creating an interactive web application to assist with economic and workforce development efforts within a ten county region in central Oklahoma. Data are included for Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Payne, and Pottawatomie, counties in the asset mapping application.
The asset mapping application is a web-based version of a Geographical Information System (GIS) to be utilized by economic, workforce, community developers and others in community development and similar processes. The data in the asset mapping application portray the demographic, workforce and educational characteristics of the region and distribution of significant infrastructure, economic incentive zones and other key assets in central Oklahoma.
